Cost-effective environmental protection and thus ways to reduce energy and costs can be achieved quickly and easily by simple means. The objective should be to operate existing power drives in a more cost-effective manner, and by implementing every suggestion to immediately have a positive impact on the environment. This increases the effective performance and makes the total cost of drives with Optibelt belts and pulleys understandable for everyone.
Implementing measures to reduce costs and energy can be done quickly and easily using simple means, such as technical devices. The wide range of Optibelt service has been expanded a step further. The practical SERVICE KIT contains a number of technical devices that can be used to carry out a series of optimisations on existing drives.
In detail, the SERVICE KIT contains the following aids:
With a selection of useful aids for quick help on site:
optibelt SERVICE BOX
For the alignment of pulleys:
optibelt LASER POINTER
A durable way of documenting tension data on each drive:
optibelt NOTEBOX
For easy measurement of the ideal belt tension:
optibelt TT
An indispensable aid for belt drives – optibelt LASER POINTER II
The optibelt LASER POINTER II makes it easier to align belt drives. The belt pulleys are aligned to each other via the front or lateral faces. The LASER POINTER II is simple to handle and can be fastened in a matter of seconds. This is a practical aid for professional alignment of belt pulleys.

The SERVICE BOX from Optibelt was designed as an on-site support for many fields of application. Centre distances, belt lengths and pulley diameters can be determined trouble-free with the flexible fabric measuring tape.
Belts and pulleys can be quickly and effortlessly identified with the groove gauges. They also enable pulley groove edges to be tested for angular deviation and wear.
It is possible to mark the belt clearly and legibly with details such as sizes, symbols etc. using the special ballpoint pen with silver ink.
Pressing with your thumb – to ascertain belt tension – is not required using the OPTIKRIK tension gauge.
The creation and monitoring of belt tension with the OPTIKRIK makes it easier for installers to carry out maintenance work on site and increase the reliability of the drive.

The optibelt TT frequency tension tester is used to check the tension of drive belts by measuring their frequency of vibration. Due to its compact design, it offers universal application possibilities for drives in engineering, in the automotive industry and for many other technical applications. The optibelt TT is designed even for difficult-to-reach places, making it ideal for quickly and easily checking the tension of V-belts, ribbed belts and timing belts. The appliance is ready to transfer data immediately after switching on. The measuring head must be held over the belt to be measured (two red LED light points help to position it). The tensioned belt is then made to vibrate by plucking or striking it with a finger or an object. The optibelt TT starts to take readings and shows the results in hertz [Hz]. The type, condition and colour of the belt have no effect on the readings. Tension recommendations can be taken from Optibelt specifications and CAP calculations.
optibelt TT:
A guarantee for the long life of your V-belts, ribbed belts and timing belts!
The proven Optibelt “Tension Notes” stickers document the default values for the correct tensioning methods when required and so provide service technicians with reliable information in future without a long search.
This simplified tension method
is intended to simplify the maintenance of belt drives for the installer in the event that the most important technical data is unknown and the ideal default tension is unavailable.

Valuable help for the measurement of V-belt and pulley groove sections.
The durability of a V-belt, timing belt or ribbed belt depends considerably on the correct tension and installation. For this purpose, there are a number of Optibelt service devices available to you.
In order to use these devices correctly on a machine, for example, we offer our customers the Optibelt table tensioning device for training purposes. Using this device, drive variants can be adjusted so that users can be trained in the operation of all service devices through the use of training appliances.
An ideal aid for everyday use.
